Searching for a place to throw your child’s birthday party in Murray Hill NYC?
I recently performed for a birthday at the Heimbold Family Children’s Playing and Learning Center, located in the Scandinavia House at 58 Park Avenue in Manhattan, and I highly recommend checking them out!
The space features 2 play areas, and is something of a hidden gem in Murray Hill. I overheard several parents say, “I can’t believe I never knew about this place…”
I also love the Heimbold Family Children’s Playing and Learning Center because it lets kids do what they do best: learning through play!
The space features a reading theater, sensory tunnel, custom Lego® corner, a BRIO® train table, indoor climbing corner, mushroom house, and a lot more.
There are only a handful of birthday party places in NYC I recommend for pre-school aged kids, and the Heimbold Family Children’s Playing and Learning Center is one of my top picks.
If I were planning my child’s party at the Heimbold Family Children’s Playing and Learning Center, then I’d use this 2.5 hour template for a fun and stress-free experience:
30-45 minutes: Arrival / Free Play
30-45 minutes: Interactive family entertainment
30-45 minutes: Eat pizza, sing happy birthday and make cake “disappear!” ;-)
I’ve seen this formula work for thousands of birthdays. Use it and rest assured that it’s one less thing you have to worry about in the planning of your child’s special day.
Okay, let’s re-cap…
