I recently performed magic for a Baptism Party at Bobo Restaurant, located at 181 W 10th St, New York, NY. If you’re looking for a cozy, contemporary and elegant restaurant in Manhattan, Bobo is the place to go!
Bobo spans several floors of a West Village Townhouse: there’s a lively lower bar area, charming upstairs dining areas, and a beautiful back garden.
Bobo’s menu features soulful and tasteful takes on seasonal French classics. Chef Cedric Tovar uses fresh food from local farmers to create seasonal dishes like Ravioles du Royan aux Champignons and Risotto de Coquilles Saint-Jacques….
…as they say in France, “délicieux!”
I arrived at Bobo Restaurant after everyone had eaten their first course. A magic show is a great way to keep the kids engaged and entertained, as there’s usually a lull between the appetizer and entree.
I kept the kids engaged and falling over with laughter, while the parents had a chance to relax and chat. Many sat back and enjoyed the magic show, too.
Afterwards, I made balloon-animals for all of the kids. The guest of honor’s Mom kindly left a review…
To sum up: If you’re looking for an elegant restaurant in Manhattan to host your child’s baptism party, then I highly recommend Bobo Restaurant. Contact Bobo’s events team by emailing events@casanela or call 212-488-2624
