A Peak at a Magic Birthday Party in West Hempstead NY

I just entertained 20 kids and their parents at a 6 year old’s birthday party in West Hempstead, NY. What a fun party!

Let me paint a quick picture of the birthday celebration for you…

I arrived 15 minutes early to set-up and meet the birthday boy. The kids were busy making magic wands to use during the show.

We began on-time and the kids were captivated from the start. Parents always decide whether to stick around or not after the first trick…and even they sat down giving each other that universal look: “How did he do that?”

I chose the birthday boy first, and he was beaming with joy as the star of the show. His parents took this priceless photograph where his mouth was hanging wide open with amazement – he had no clue how he made a gigantic 8 foot magic wand appear!

Non-stop belly-laughs and looks of amazement were tell-tale signs that his friends were having the time of their lives. Lots of audience participation, silly comedy and mystifying magic contributed to the inclusive party atmosphere.

At the end of the show, I made each child a balloon-animal. The parents served pizza and birthday cake, and everyone went home with a smile and souvenir.
