Howdy! I’m Magic Evan, and I’ll be taking my summer reading magic show to libraries across New Jersey this summer.

I started learning magic when I was a kid by going to my local library. Since then, I’ve performed on television, in different countries, and even earned a Master’s Degree from New York University.

Here’s a preview of what you’ll experience:

• Gone are the worries and awkwardness of a boring summer reading celebration. I deliver an entertainment experience that’s fun for the entire family right to your library – so be prepared for a large crowd! You’ll see kids beaming, belly-laughing and actively engaging in the magic show.
• Entertainment the entire family will enjoy! I use my experience as an entertainer and educator to sprinkle teachable moments throughout the magic show. Kids’ faces light up with delight as they learn how to discover their own magic in books.
• An interactive magic workshop: After the show, I teach the audience some simple magic tricks and share what books they can read to learn even more. This irresistible call to action guarantees that books will fly off the shelves!
