What a morning! My virtual magic show kept a kindergarten class in Suffolk County, NY beaming, belly laughing and wide-eyed with amazement!

The guest of honor was turning 6, and his parents were searching for a way to make his birthday extra special.
Due to COVID, in-person birthdays are discouraged and visitors are not allowed in school.
The Mom contacted me about creating a fun, engaging and memorable experience for her son and his friends.
The solution? A virtual magic show for the birthday boy and his entire kindergarten class!
The teacher connected her computer to her smart board so that I could see the students, and the students could see me.
During the live virtual show, I kept the birthday boy – and all of his friends – actively involved as they helped me make objects disappear, levitate and – to hilarious effect – take on a life of their own!
My favorite memory was when the birthday boy was the star of the show as my volunteer.
After deciding upon a fun stage name (he chose “The Amazing Alex”), he put on a magic top hat and cape.
Turning towards the class, The Amazing Alex said, “Abracadabra!” and the yellow handkerchief in my hand turned into a piece of bread (instead of turning red).
When Alex saw the piece of bread, he buckled over with laughter!
After much hilarity, Alex magically made the handkerchief turn red and received a warm round of applause from his teacher and all of his friends.
Before the show, I mailed my Spectacular Bags of Tricks to Alex’s Mom.
After the show, the teacher gave everyone a Spectacular Bags of Tricks so that they could participate in a very special magic class.
During the class, everyone takes the Magician’s Oath, becomes honorary magicians, and learns the secrets to the effects in their bag of tricks.
By the end, everyone was performing magic tricks for each other, and kept the fun and memories going strong long after the celebration was over.
Here’s the review the Mom wrote after the party
“I highly recommend Magic Evan! He performed virtually for my son’s Kindergarten class in celebration of his 6th Birthday. The kids were all roaring with laughter and amazed by his magical performance Evan was also easy to work with, answered my questions timely and coordinated his show with both myself and my sons teacher. He mailed out goodie bags prior to the show containing magic tricks that he then showed the kids how to do. This was a strange year for birthday parties, but Magic Evan made it one my son won’t soon forget.” – Colleen Riker O’Neill, Suffolk County NY
